Lives in Dhaka Bangladesh.
I am a passionate artist with strong urge to discover and design ways to recreate urban lifestyle through my artwork who portrays an obscure details to tell my stories. I am primarily a graphic designer with a growing interest in nature’s stylistic pattern of art that is heavily influenced by African, Australian aboriginal, Indian folk art (Madhubani , Gond and Warli art) and the diverse styles of indigenous artworks around the world.
I did my graduation from the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka with a specialisation in Graphic Design. I started my professional carrier as a Graphic Designer in BEXIMCO Online (BOL) and simultaneously established a home-based boutique by exploring textiles – creating my own designs on women’s clothing. I also worked in Dressy Dale as Fashion Designer thereafter. When I moved back into artwork, my profound interest in textiles, pattern work, geometric forms, technology-based designs, colour and printmaking emerged through my new works.
